We seriously lack updates so this is a sort of miscellaneous kinda thing.
So got me so called "first" albulms a few days ago. Much thanks to my god bro for getting me the cd's though you didn't have to get all. Otherwise your service is very much appreciated:) You'll get your dosh soon;)
As simple as it seems, there's something special about having your own "original" copy of a cd, especially if the artist is your favourite and the music rocks. I've got a brand new cd rack to fill so I should start my collection now! hehe
Despite the short track list, I loved all the songs on this album. The cover is awesome (though I wonder why they made the cross green and not red) and once again, David Crowder never fails to look amazingly awkward. I was having a conversation with my god father on how the best of singers don't exactly have the best looks, e.g. mercyme, Israel. I couldn't believe the lead singer for mercyme looked how he looked when I checked him out on youtube! Nevertheless, what surpasses good vocals and sound is the glorifying of God. Last but not least, I never really knew what remedy meant, not until I heard of this album. Always thought it had to do with music;p which is way far off. Definite recommendation!

Another splendid album. After some careful consideration, I think I’ll keep this albumJ Actually had second thought about whether I wanted to keep it for my own as the cover was attractive much! The cd case was so exciting too! Haha a simple fascination because you had to “press” to open. Had a different shape compared to your normal cd cases. Good heavy stuff took time to grow onto. The slower songs are pretty good too. It still intrigues me, this whole “blackbird” album title. Thinks it’ kinda metaphorical as it says in the album – “in memory of mark morse”?? This album was also recorded in “blackbird” studio it says…beats me lah…

That’s right; it’s not one dude, its two dudes! It’s not the same guy copied and pasted, it’s a picture of twins! Always thought that Ryan was the first name and Dan the surname=p So dw if you got a liddle confused. Pretty emo stuff I have to say, sad feel to most of the songs, but they are so amazing. Kinda reminds me of the Beegees when they go high and everyfin. Will post a few of their numbers ASAP. Another recommendation :D Much thanks to Ron for introing this album to me=D
I want this album really really bad! *whines* hopefully it shan’t be disappointing when I finally get my hands on it *fingers crossed* Chrismast is round the corner so if you're looking for a gift for me...hehe *hint*
Today was the last day of school for this year. Time flashes by in the blink of an eye. One moment you have, and the next thing you know the moment’s gone. This feels like the last days of “real” highschool. Next term will just be revision, pastpapers and more pastpapers, then finals and finally whatever’s in store. For some highschool days or uni days may have been the time of your life. The thing is it takes quite a while for this time to be implanted and remembered. Here I am now struggling to enjoy the moments and in a blink of an eye, the moment is gone. I don’t realize it but yet what I do see is that my highschool days was definitely the time of my life.
Just an extra from Battle of the Bands:D We won 2nd along with best bassist, drummer, and guitarist! wOOTS!
Oh, Music Fobissea kicked butt! We totally owned the jazz/rock night, even though I look a bit dodgy in the photo! WOOTS!!
