Monday.Like any other day until Bry called.It was a pretty fast convo, didnt really think much but accept his generous offer. Basically he asked whether if I wanted to play for his band, "7minutesoffame" for Hanah's Birthday & also for the Acts29 Youth Camp Band competition. I said yes & he told me there might be band practice the day after, told him I was free & so he said he would confirm it.
Next day, as I expected Bry calls, practice at Rich's 2pm. We meet up at Expressions, go buy some cables & picks, steal Derick's bass;p, & jam for the rest of the day:D Following day, Hanah's Birthday! Happy belated btw & sry I didnt get you anything. Met up with the rest of the band at SAS then went off for rehersal at Riverview.Night falls & we jam all the way, well there was another band, "abandwants" singer is awesomeD_D He's like the Asian version of Panic@thedisco's singer! Good food but I didnt eat much. haha poor Miko couldnt eat cos he was gonna sing;p Was kinda surprised when I found out Chris was Hanah's bro.Had fun:D was brutally attacked with cake while playing our last song too. Can't remember all the songs we played but they all rocked!
Wednesdayy.My first ever Acts29 camp. Overall I loved it. Was different to Y.D.M. camps so I have to admit I found it a bit weird:x Wasn't exactly how I expected it to be. Felt way more comfortable cos we stayed in the Holiday Lodge. Stayed with Rich, Jay & Jason:) haha I secretly changed rooms & didnt get caught. Matt Fielder came too! One of the speakers from the famous Planetshakers from Oz. He gave a great message & certainly stirred the crowd. I wanna go to one of their conferences too. Highlights were "7minutesoffame" winning the band competition, the "Pokers" freestyling with their remix, & last but not least me speaking tongues! That night was incredible! The feeling was sensational! After so many years of waiting I finally received God's gift. It just something you cant make up bcos you'll sound like a fool:x Camp lasted 3 days which seemed more like 3 seconds. Had to walk to KTM to eat all out meals but at least it helped with digestion. Theme was "Extraordinary" & the camp shirt was so cool! Seriously, it was such a wicked design! Wish gid came too;) Soph kept on asking where he was, saying how much she missed him & how it was weird seeing me alone cos I'm usually wif gid. haha didn't noe you were that popular gid;p
Now the holidays are just catching up & soon it'll be school again-_-" Can't wait till term 3 ends. I'm rushing everything now & hopefully it'll turn out good=p Wished I had a business test instead of a project:( Also healing my fingers after playing the bass too vigourously. What I realy look forward to is Y.D.M.'s camp in June baby!!
