History and the theory of evolution. We were discussing the theory of evolution along with the Bible and the Big bang theory. The Bible states that God had put us in charge over the animals where as the theory of evolution states that we are the indirect descendants of monkey. Now the interesting thing is that the teacher so happened to refer to the teachings in the Bible as "stories". It really got me thinking.
Why is it so hard in the world today to accept that there is in fact a God who is sovereign? Why do we come up with theory's that in fact contradict the teachings of God? Some claim the theory of evolution to be true and still think of the Bible as a story, but i for one refuse to believe that my anscestors were monkeys. In other words I do believe in God!!!
