Summer So Far

Posted on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 -

I just realised that it's almost been a year since me and gid started this blog and we've only got 46' (well 47' after I post this) Yes, we're bums and we're both lazy. I always thought that this summer would mean more time for working on the blog, i.e. more posts, but unfortunately I get caught up with the rest of my life. Considering that I'm even able to find time to post this is lucky:) So here are fragments of my summer~

Beginning of summer was pretty exciting. With the Transformers movie coming out a day before the last day of school everyone was hyped! I watched it on the Sunday on the week it came out with a few friends at Empire which was packed. The screen also blacked out at some point which was pretty crap-_-" Funny because you could hear the cries and the startings of a riot in malay:P Watched it again on Gyver's farewell party which helped me understand the movie/storyline alot better. Was then supposed to watch it 3 more times but I thought twice was enough for me.

Besides Transformers I watched a couple more. Harry Potter was pretty good although a lot of people said it sucked. Must have been the book readers=p Was never a Harry Potter fan, watched only 3 of the movies read 0 of the books. Parents have something agaisnt it:x Then there was Die Hard 4.0 which was super! Looks like Bruce still has the moves eh! Oh and his daughter's pretty hot:x I reckon hotter than the Transformers girl. Most of the guys in our school are currently crazy about her. Apparently she's like a porn star as well? Friend told me that, well she's like a "sub" So looking forward to the Simpsons' and Rat-ta-too-ee movie! haha I first thought the simpsons' were actually gonna be real people, as in not cartoon:P Black Sheep and Vacancy are a must watch!! Oh & I've also been on a DVD craze! Most of the days I spend watching DVD's till about 4am in the morning latestD_D But then watching too much t.v. gets boring...

You tend to eat more when you're on holiday if you haven't realised. Meal after meal, snack after snack, and by the time school re-opens, you've gained 5 pounds or more! Lucky for me, I havent:D I checked yesterday and I've havent gained or loss-_-" Excercise has been rare, hardly regular. So I've been eating lots & lots and made a wonderful discoveryXD It is, by far, the most tastiest, most scrumptious, chocolately, cookie I have ever ate- Arnotts Premier Choc Chip Cookie With just one cookie, your life will be changed forever, and with one box you're weight shall be too;p I recommend it and say that you should take it with milk:)) Tastes better that way. Heaven I tell you.

Arnott’s Premier Chocolate Chip Cookies are the most choc-full choc-chip cookies you can buy. These biscuits are around half pure chocolate chip! To make these biscuits, we redesigned our mixing and cutting equipment to allow for the maximum number of chocolate bits to fit into each cookie. These biscuits are 44% pure chocolate. In fact, if you put any more chocolate chips into the mixture the biscuit dough simply wouldn’t hold together.

Eggy in a Basket tastes pretty awesome too:D Check it out here. Thanks for the food Dad<3>

And for the record, I haven't been anywhere and I shan't be. Stuck in Brunei for the rest of the summer doesn't sound too bad...The crappy part of summer has been the school work I have to do-_-" I'm doing a 2 year course so yea. Ii've only got my geo coursework, but it takes ages just to complete. And it doesnt end there. I still have to edit everything and re-checkX_X Teacher gave the class a check-bookletD_D not a check-list. Two more parts to go, my analysis which is probably the worst part, and my conclusion. Deadline I made for myself is end of this month which isn't too far away. Besides that there's add math tuition-_-" 4 times a week. 2 hours per session. I like started earlier on, but nothing was getting into my head so I'm redoing everything from scratch. I'll show the add math class! bahaha but it's pretty stressing-_-" By the time I get home I'm worn out~ O'level malay coming up too. I'm malaysian (Malaysia Boleh!!) but my mama still wants me to do it, she's a malay teacher btw. I never practice:x Just read and read cos' me mom gave me a whole box of booksD_D She said my older bro read all of the book 3 timesD_D

Been listening to a lot of good music too, genres of all sorts. Bands like Bowling For Soup, Paramore, Hawk Nelson, Staind, Micheal Buble, Planetshakers(SOFTW) Planetshakers new album is ok I guess. Fav's are still Pick it up and Evermore. Paramore and Hawk Nelson are actually christians but they don't really do christian songs though you can spot a few values in their lyrics. There's also this American dude gid mentioned to me, Mark Schultz sounds like a girl but he's good. I'll put some songs from these artists soon. I always thought I would run out of music to put on the blog, now I find that I've got too much. Am also getting the new Hillsong Live Album-Saviour King hopefully. WOOTS~ Thanks von^^; Will keep in touch! There's also a whole list of funk/jazz I have also been listening to but I cant remember anything at all;p Am also putting music to lyrics for a worldwide competition thing I joined along with joel k. stress much cos we can never find time to do itX_X

Then there's the usual bumming:D & that's pretty much it, eating, studying, listening to music, watching a whole lot of movies, surfing, sleeping and going out. Thinking of putting up a poll soon too on the blog. Got a gig this week at riverview & i'll most probably put picturse below. For now it's the of the update:)
